We are rather later than medieval - it would be nice to carry a woman's token of favour, though what we do is not as romantic or chivolrous as you would see in a pageant or joust.

Bought two books for 99p today, one was a medical dictionary, and the other a WHS booklet on the English civil war (By the sword divided) exclusive to WHS, so I shall know all the gen!! ;)

Sounds Good - there are quite a few CW books with that title - it's a quotation - also the title of an excellent TV seies on the events which is out on DVD - hope you enjoy the books

thanks Arthur, my son thought he saw you in Manchester Central Library, he goes in when he's on his lunch hour sometimes, as he can use the pc there for two hours without paying  (he's seen everyone's piccy on the forum so thought he recognised you)

Hi Celeste,

Is your son a library member or a visitor? In Northern Ireland members do not pay to use PCs in libraries although there's a charge for non members. Members are allowed an hour and then more time if no one is waiting to use the machine. If you're lucky you can use the PC all day.
