A GMP spokesman said: "We are currently searching a property on Banff Road in Rusholme in relation to last Monday's attack. There is a cordon in place, please avoid the area."

I lived in Banff Road many years ago.

My nephews were in England a couple of years ago and took a photo of the house for me

I don't know the area, I remember Dickinson Road and seeing a market, I think Longsight or is it Levenshulme which is near there

Hi Celeste, I moved from Banff Road to St Johns Road which is off Dickinson Road (the Stockport Road end) when I was about 12.

I believe that the house we lived in was eventually demolished and the market built in the same place. That was in Longsight.

Distant, but happy, memories :)
