Andy is now planning to end all new cases of HIV in the region in the next 25 years, wow is there nothing he won't promise, safe trams, ending homelessness, now this, the guy's on fire, but the most depressing thing is the thought of the pillock being around for 25 years to see it through, not that any of it's achievable, just bullcrap as usual.
Is there no beginning to this man's talents

I'll reserve judgement on that until he does something to the benefit of the people who actually contribute but all I see is bigger council tax bills as a result of this guy trying to be popular because it's us poor saps that have to pay in that will fund a lot of it.

Now your eating from my honey pot.

Manchester council have interests commercially . So why are paying council tax?

They should be elected to make life better for us. Not charge us for the privalidge of these people being in power.

GMP and it's ten local satalites should be doing everything to make council tax disapeer.

Now he has a ready-made excuse for backing out of Brexit - if it's a no-deal Brexit he would back a second referendum, as a 'last resort' of course ::)

Now I can understand why Corbyn got elected, people wanted someone new instead of the  collection of mediocre ones who were contesting it.

Not I. Blairites loyal lap dogs in power in Manchester after we voted for no mayor.

Tories installed mayor by the then Osborne.

I would never vote Tory just on the grounds of doing this to Manchester. Didn't get the vote they wanted so they installed a mayor anyway.

Laughing at us from high above we are truly a city of lethargic morons .

If you call the enclosed entrance to a bank and the porch of St Mary's porch Stockport the answer is yes. There was a guy outside M@S Ashton rubbing his hands to keep warm, yesterday. Winters here ,God help them.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-manchester-45738148

A woman has resorted to living in a Wendy house after hitting financial troubles and finding herself homeless.

April Fillingham, 27, from Hindley in Wigan, has been sleeping in the wooden outdoor play house in the garden behind her mother's bungalow for six months.

She said: "It's cold and there's a drip from the roof. Sleeping's a nightmare."

Wigan Council said it has offered Ms Fillingham temporary accommodation and is working with her towards "a more permanent and stable tenancy."

'her mother's health lifestyle differences  prevents her sharing the bungalow'

 ???

Wigan is Greater Manchester so maybe Andy Burnham can help her, but if she couldn't pay her rent on her old place she may not be able to on another place.

so she’s made herself homeless and expects a house to be given to her, what’s wrong with her mothers bungalow , how can she be classed as genuinely homeless , this story is a crock of poo

Unless her mother is living with someone already, and that could be transient, the mother may need her daughter to be her carer in the future - living in a Wendy House would be sure to get the publicity
necessary to obtain another accommodation though wouldn't it? Now whose idea could that have been? :D
