So the police are now looking into alleged abuse of Lingard from a united fan on Thursday night after the game with derby county, apparently  It wasn’t racial or homophobic so why are the police involved?

Like everything else now football is affected by the touchy feely aspects of modern life, if the players cannot take criticism from fans they shouldn't be involved in professional sport, they're quick enough to enjoy the plaudits and praise from the fans, but now plod has to protect the delicate fragile egos of the poor dears.  ::)

And, don't forget, if Dibble wasn't wasting everybody's time with bow larks like this they might be expected to go after some actual criminals. You know, proper villains. They might cut up a bit rough, Guvnor, and someone might get hurt.

Can match of the day get any worse ? ,on the highlights of the derby they spent at least ten minutes showing idiot fans making embarrassing comments on old Trafford forecourt , the highlights just lasted about fifteen minutes and then the inevitable bull shine from two long retired footballers telling us what we have just watched and to add insult to injury when showing key moments of the game they “ ring” the players because they obviously think that us the viewers don’t know who passed .shot . Scored or saved the ball . Motd just mirrors the BBC a creaking overweight entity that needs scrapping .

I stopped watching MOTD years ago, something I always imagined could never happen, but following football on the net is a great substitute. You sometimes get the commentary in Arabic or Russian, of course, but it just seems to adds to the sense of fun and adventure!

At least the pathetic and pointless European Nations League will be scuppered by the Euros. Every cloud has a silver lining.....

So if the scousers want to carry on in the league during this pandemic why not carry on with every other tournament?

And if Liverpool want to be awarded the Premier League title on the basis of putting in a jolly good effort (albeit VAR assisted) then why should the same principle not be applied to the other two major competitions that were at an advanced stage of completion? City were favorites to pick up both, so why not just hand them over? It would be every bit as hollow as their "title", of course, but the Dippers are shameless enough to be able to live with that.

Aguero says he and other players are fearful for their families,if footy kicks off again.
Atreat in store to see them gozzeling and blowing noses onto the pitch again. UGH.
Politicians and nappies must be changed often, and for the same reason

Frank Soo was an English professional football player and manager of mixed Chinese and English parentage. He was the first player of Chinese origin to play in the English Football League, and the first non-white player to represent England, though in unofficial wartime matches. Wikipedia
