just after the war there used to be fire works.The outdoor swimpool is long gone.with friends I raided the smelly rubber works accesable from the park for slings to make catapults.There were 3 ponds only one now.And there is a peace monument.At Granellis a cheeky kid asked "have you got a thripenny lolly for tuppence?iv only got a penny and iv lost it".John
