can anybody settle an argument for me? Looking at the below pictures can you name the street?

Looks a bit like an old picture of Thomas street in the Northern Quarter

I thought that at first then thought it was stock st but I think you could be right scl.

It's definitely Thomas st. I used to go to a hardware shop there years back to get my papering scissors sharpened

If you type that phone number,showing on the photo, into Google search it comes up as 42-46 Thomas St.

Well done Brad,I got nowhere searching the No. but knew Stocks st well. Terraced down one side  , no gardens, some small garden in front down the other.

I only know of Thomas Street because I believe there's an art gallery there, not that I've ever been there but a friend of mine exhibited some photographs there a few years ago.

That would be The Richard Goodall Gallery, last photograph exhibition that I attended  there, was Graham Nash (ex Hollies,CSN&Y ) circa 2005.
