I think Croatia played average , what they lacked in skill they made up for in fouls . Something the ref seemed to be very leiniant towards.
My concern with England was the final finish. Kane was hopeless and looked as he has done in a few games over whelmed.
Raheam sterling was a national embarrassment.
He completed 0 passes , he ran into defenders , he missed over 3 open goals , he could not run with the ball.
No opposition were ever worried by him at all. A liability to England . I blame Southgate for this . He set us up to fail.
Rashford came in and made an instant impact with pace , agility and most importantly being able to hold the ball.
He should of started with vardy or wellbeck.
Kane looked great against Panama and tunisia. But it's Panama and tunisia for god's sake..
England were gifted the easiest route in history to the world cup final and they absolutely blew it .
Unfortunately Southgate has the media fawning over him., So does the team. They will not get better they will be at best average.
