We live in a global supply chain we are about to cut links with part of the chain.with absolutely nothing in place to replace it.

It's not rocket science , food ,medical supply's , energy are now at risk. Rampant inflammation is predicted.

This government will fall if this is the case.

As this is one they can't blame on Jearmy.

It may take a few weeks but the councils are not taking chances the army is on alert.

Not that could do much they are so underfunded.

Sorry, I think the country is much more resourceful, people said they would suffocate if they went over 25mph on the first trains.

In 1999 they said the worlds computers would stop, bringing chaos.

In 2000 that was just wrapping for fish and chips.

Maybe CC is hanging on to old stock of paper.

I used to think that when Hong Kong was handed back to the Comunists, their fate was bleak. What happened ? China streaked into the modern world.

On the other hand, did Mandela transform S.Africa?. We hoped, and he didn't.

Chances are 50/50 we get things right.
Politicians and nappies must be changed often, and for the same reason

You may scoff . But we live in s global supply chain of food ,energy ,medical  and goods.

Now what is Britain's abilities to feed it self?

http://www.countryfile.com/article/can-uk-feed-itself

We only produce 60 percent of our food.

So we can not sustain our selves.

What are Britain's abilities to medicste itself?

I can't find a study to show what the effects of medicine will be affected by Brexit and no deal.

That's probably a living experiment we will all endure.

It's clear the EU knows we are not a self sustainable nation .they have all the cards .we leave . We starve? We will crawl back to them.

How you can compare the y2k nonsense to cutting links to a global supply chain is beyond me .

Your laptop not being able to read the date is in no way a comparison of the countrys of Spain ,Portugal , France, Germany,Italy and Belgium being able to send us medical supplies and food.

It must be me then that does not want American gentically altered crops, chlorinated meat , of sugared cereals flooding I to the UK.

We at least have clean crops for now produce is free from DNA tampering.

The onslaught of sugar foods from the USA is here . American sweets.

We have been slowly desinsentised to this [censored] masquerading as food.

The EU standards will be replaced by the USA .

we might crawl back to them but that will push most of the people who voted out further to the right they’ll accuse the establishment of a sell out a betrayal in fact ,possibly like Germany after ww1 ,

Ouch, CC, that sounds really horrible.

You should get down and see the quack. He can probably give you a cream for that.

And in any case, why haven't the treasonous Remain crowd warned us about the plague of giant man-eating spiders that will certainly be unleashed if the 'You-Kay' were ever to leave the warm embrace of the 'Eee-You'? Surely they have a responsibility to inform the people............?

Off hand, I can't think of any country that is 'self-sustaining'. We live in a world economy these days, and a great many counties are only too willing to trade with Britain when they leave the EU. You can go back to having New Zealand butter and banana's that can be any shape they like. You can get your coffee from Brazil, and your tuna, and pineapples, from Australia.
The majority voted to leave, time to stop looking for someone else to take responsibility for that, and get on with it. The world will keep turning.

When your desperate your in no position to haggle , we will be stung by huge tarrifs from other countries.

The eu where a significant proportion of our food comes from will make it so expensive that we could be looking at a basket of shopping costing as much as 5 X as it does now.

The port of Dover? Exactly how does that function. ?

No deal means catastrophic end .

The yanks are running there hands ready to save us .

Britain isn't desperate, with all that overcrowding people are forever complaining about, it has a massive potential market...and make no mistake, there are always countries willing to fill any gap in any market.

The self confessed teenagers on here won't remember Britain before the EU came along, but it did just fine thank you very much, and no doubt will again if you don't get blown up for siding with the Muppet in the White House.

Dover works by having lots of little boats going in and out....like the games you play in the bath tub only bigger!

So quick to scream and shout that the end is upon you, so fast to abandon your notion of Britain being great.....oh ye of little faith :P

Paperboy . Britain isn't great when you have the like of mog ,may and borris running things.

Only today Dr Neil fox has announced no deal looks likely.

Before we joined the EU the global supply chain was not as complexed or as interlinked as today.

I truly hope we do well as I'll be one of the VICTIMS if this government gets things wrong .

All other countries are not stupid they have scenarios planned .

Those little boats going out of Dover. If Europe says trade tarrifs are now in place .

It's clear both sides think they hold all the aces. The EU thinks Britain is knackered and Britain think the same about the EU.

My concern is all the data points to us being in trouble if we no deal and fall into WTO tarrifs.

We will not starve as deals will be done . But at what cost will we sell out more of our country?

Ok let's break down how many countrys we can trade with 195 countries in the world.

of them 80 percent are considered not to be first world standards. Poor with no money in other words

The 1st  world trading partners are 35 . Of which over 25 of them are in the EU .

WHO WE CANT TRADE WITH.

So paperboy where is this massive market you talk of?

so we have the third world to trade with , we only make luxury items so the  people of Chad, south Sudan or Bolivia want a lovely Burberry or Pringle jumper?

Our gas is now being imported at over 40 percent from pipelines from quatar.

And liquid gas is imported .on tankers . Super tankers cost a fortune now to run.

We can't even cook our own food.

We're used to out of season food all year round.lets see how that works when  is no longer trading at EU prices.

We are now at the bottom of the growth league in manufacturing after Brexit vote.

Yet again , the usual in fighting with the Tories has now sent the UK into what could be a period of problems.

we are used to cheap food cheap phones cheap TVs. All that's about to change.

The biggest problem is the santasised people of Britain. Who have no concept of reality . Pampered and taken care of able to live in bubbles .

Cheap goods for years , an abundance of food and the only thing they find to complain about is the dress ware of woman.

The reality of true hard ship is about to come crashing in.

I wanted out of the EU but this is not the early 70s before we joined.

We live in a completely diffrent world ,China and Russia are now major players in energy . The far East supply's most of our energy

We are treble the population .and were about to receive a lot of ex pat's if there is no deal . Oaps needing care. Will be sent back.

So no paperboy the UK will not just be fine and dandy were about to with a no deal be absolutely knackered.

And as for the WTO RULES who voted to join that?

And who elected them?

Transparent?
