As part of their bail, the defendants must not enter Manchester city centre, apart to attend court or appointments with solicitors, they must not contact prosecution witnesses and they were ordered to report at daily to the police.
It comes after police were called to the city centre at about 2.10pm on Monday, August 20.
The two men who have appeared in court in connection to an alleged hate crime in Manchester city centre are
Luke Jones, 27, of Keston Crescent, Brinnington and Ryan Gould, 28, of no fixed address, both appeared in the dock at Manchester magistrates court on Friday.
They pleaded not guilty to the alleged offences they have been charged with.
The pair both pleaded not guilty to two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and one count of a public order offence, intentionally causing alarm, fear or distress.
