It was another street swallowed up by the Trinity way.
It was located just off Gore street by the Salford Central railway station.

Hi OldRon,
Fantastic response thanks.
I did receive your JONES STREET reply but couldn't find it hence I asked again. By a [censored] I found it whilst searching the OS 104.06map for ISLINGTON GROVE.
I've located where ATKINSON PLACE was on the OS 104.05 however MORRIS STREET is yet to be located on my maps. Do have the map reference by any chance?
Cheers

Gore street still exists, if you look on Google Earth and stand with your back to the railway viaduct,
the Egerton pub is in front of you and Morris street was just to the left -- it's a building site now.

Excellent description OldRon!
Unfortunately the OS map Lancashire sheet 104.06 shows Gore Street quite clearly but alas not MORRIS Street. There is a BECK Street and RIDING Street shown.
At least I know where it should be on my map!! Great work.
Thanks

Go to -- Manchester University, old maps of Manchester resource. Morris street is clearly shown on the (1897?) map, along with most of the others you have been researching.

Just checked -- it was the 1892 map.
https://luna.manchester.ac.uk/luna/servlet/detail/maps002~1~1~335715~123005?sort=reference_number%2Ctitle&qvq=q:ordnance%20survey%2025%20inch;sort:reference_number%2Ctitle;lc:maps002~1~1&mi=4&trs=49
The above link should take you right to it.

Brilliant service oldron.
Your knowledge of Salford is excellent. I wouldn't have had a clue where to start searching.
Many thanks.
