Government Pension saving through Covid deaths
« on: 16:50:11, 04/03/21 »
The amount the government has to spend on state pensions will fall by £1.5bn by 2022, partly because of over-65s dying of Covid, forecasts suggest. In order to receive a pension, all these people have had to put into the pot all their working lives, unfortunately they will no longer need it due to their untimely deaths. This makes the government the winner but still they keep pushing the age one can retire further away.

Agreed John, and welcome to the Forum.
Pension age is a disgrace,I havn't heard any Party willing to reverse this decision and the woman who started this pension age equality should have a Blue Plaque for all to see for all time.
Politicians and nappies must be changed often, and for the same reason
