I find it odd that no other country has started an 'Earthquake Fund' for us poor Brits.

Look at the trouble and expense we've all gone to, to get our servants to pick up our garden furniture that has blown over.

An excellent suggestion Mr Odd  O0

 ::)...Ahem....

As a non-traumatised survivor of the now infamous "Manchester Quake of 08"  I am becoming increasingly infuriated at the lack of assistance rendered by the international community...and especially the UN & EU. >:(

Where were the mountains of tents and garden furniture on emergency standby??

Where was the army of international volunteer plasterers equipped with trowels and mortar-boards??

Where was the army of international volunteer picture-hangers to straighten our wobbly picture frames??

Abso-l-utely Nowhere.  >:(

Tis a jolly good job it's not my finger on the nuclear button.

I would have preferred a stronger one myself, The type of quake that makes cracks in the ground, How fun would that have been?!  ;D
