....having posted the previous it looks as if you have to get it into a standard format to share internationally
This is called "Gedcom" and is the de facto standard

...more later !!  :)

http://www.tribalpages.com/
Because I saw this on the Forum I started using it about a month ago.  It's absolutely brilliant and so easy to use and best of all it's free.  Just fill in the details of your family and their ancestors.  Other people will not be able to see details of living members unless you invite them and give them a password that you choose.  It's one of the best ways of sharing family information with others and you can put up 50 photos. It was a great day that I found it as I'd been looking for a free site for years.  Go for it.

Also to keep your tribale pages site free when you have posted all 50 free pictures on it. You just make a new site for other family names you have and link it to your first site. I also know a way of printing out every page you make on there to without upgradding your site( PAYING FOR IT I MEAN)
Anothere site that are free to make a family tree on is the one below. When you go to the site , down load the free standard edition.

I like tribal pages (better than Brothers' Keeper any day) but think it should have baptised and buried as entry choices as these are the norm for 'early' records

What is better or worse about 'Legacy' compared to 'tribal'?

You can have baptisims and burials plus a heck of a lot more on "Tribalpages " trees. Next time you go to edit look for this and click on it. there you can add loads of differant records.

I wouldn't object at all to paying for the program in future as my family data expands
