Hi, im a third year architecture student at manchester, we have just been given a new site to work with; a small plot of land on wakefield st. between the salisbury pub and oxford road station. I am looking at the history of the area and just wondering if anyone has any infomation on parts of this area? We have also been wondering, if anyone knows, why is wakefield street still cobbled?
