Printing a web page - help!
« on: 09:38:57, 18/03/10 »
Bit of a 'novice' - can't seem to print correctly.  Using Internet Explorer - Have found the image of ships passenger list from 'collectionscanada.ca', but can't seem to print it out correctly - I either only get part of the page printed, or it prints the full page, but so small that I can hardly read it.  What is the best way to print a web page, and ,hopefully, print the whole of it?

Thanks

In the printing options, there should be a "print preview" part to show you how it will come out, try using that. Good luck.

Web-based images are usually optimized at 72 dots per inch, which doesn't give you enough detail or resolution to print an image. If the original file is small the image quality, which is ok for screen, will be poor when printed out.
