I can still remember staring in utter disbelief the first time I heard someone say that Schooldays are the best days of your life!! :( Thankfully life did get a little better on occasions...not a lot...but I am still living in hope!! :))

Going back as a mature student is good - generally, you are there because you want to learn, not because the state and parents make you go so it's not as tense and the bullies don't want to beat you up all day

You could always be the bully - pick on the younger students, take their dinner money -shove their heads down the loo, etc...  lol - no seriuosly, it is great fun until the exams come up then it gets frantic.

They were grim - the stress was horrible - you are very aware that they willmake or break you and represent the wholethree years of your studying - one friend on the course commited suicide over the exams (she was in the next year down from me so it was after I left) - mine was bad in that my hand-writing is notoriously illegible. I'd typed allmy essays but the examiners couldn't read my exam ansswers (hand-written)., Iwas obliged to read them onto a tape recorder for them  it was like doing the exams twice. I got a 2;1 degree though.

Well done you!
I don't envy anyone having to do Exams. It must have been trebly (word??) stressful for you with the handwriting thing! :(

...I expect this has been said before...but have you ever thought of becoming a Doctor? (Bad writing on Prescriptions always seemed to be a requirement) :)
