Goal difference, isn't it?  Which would give a straight win if it was trophy time.  I think there's a lot more good groundwork gone in at City than people credit.  You can't buy a team, you can only make one.  Two Manchester teams at the top - I am smiling!  O0

You're right it is goal difference, yes I like the idea of two Manchester teams at the top too, we've taken over from Inter Milan and AC Milan ;D

They've a game in hand......  if they win it, they are top half again.

I make it  7  north west teams in the prem league
and you could almost call stoke  NW  too..........  at a stretch

but 7 is quite a big chunk,  more than a  third of the Prem League

Manchester is right at the   heart of   English Football,  you could say ,  we are the  footballing
capital of the planet   !!!!

And after Sir Alex's latest remarks, possibly now the least popular with the FA....  ::)

Moaning about the stress and hardship of having up to eight players from his squad on call for England, he said words to the effect that perhaps now the FA would realise which team produced the most players for England and would stop treating them (United) like [censored]*.

Not going to endear himself to the FA with comments like that, is he?  He's only just started talking to the Beeb again..... really, given that he is a salaried employee of a company, he should have a little more professionalism than to speak like that to journalists.  And given that he's a role model and a hero to so many kids, he should try not to sound like a peevish, foul-mouthed lout!  ::)

He frequents a certain well-known hotel in Manchester at lunchtimes quite often, and he is always there on his birthday - New Year  :D
