One for Celeste's diary, unless I'm very much mistaken!  O0

An opportunity to buy handbags?  There is more chance of me forgetting to refill the cake tin than there is of you forgetting this one!  ;D

I will be avoiding it.  I cannot be trusted in a venue where people are selling vintage jewellery.  I find antique gemstone rings irresistible.   :-[

I went and there was plenty to see - didn't buy anything though, just before I left I thought I'd have a drink and a cupcake - the cupcakes looked very pretty but they were 2 each and I thought I'd put the money towards lunch instead.

I wasn't sure where the Central Hall was so I popped in the Oxfam shop to ask, I spotted two large Morrissey vinyl albums and bought them both.

What is it with the price of cupcakes these days?  They're so cheap to make, yet since they became 'high fashion nostalgia', they are being sold for outrageous prices.  I saw many designer cupcake shops throughout California recetnly and my daughter bought us each a speciality one, for $3.50 ("tree fiddy?!" I heard another customer exclaim) each.  They were nice, but not as good as the lemon ones my daughter makes herself.  Instead of putting that cloying butter icing on them, she mixes icing sugar with just a few drops of pure lemon juice and mixes it to a stiff pouring consistency, then tops her freshly made vanilla scented cupcakes with this.  They are so tasty, we served up a tower of them for the evening revels at her wedding reception.  Home baking is the new 'pop culture' these days tho.  Love it.   :smitten:

I must say they looked very tempting, lovely pastel colours, but I tore myself away ;D

Cupcakes are everywhere, teapots, cakestands, plates, keyrings, I blame Cath Kidstone :D
