I went there when about a week before the eleven+, never sat the exam as were there a long time.


It was an eye opener and I loved every single day bar one when got hit for a six by a thug in shorts, as his girlfriend had kissed me on the dance floor, yes and she was dancing to "The Black Hills of Dakota". I think by Doris Day.


How times have changed...for the worst!

Many Manchester children were sent to Dr Garrett's in Conwy to recover and convalesce from various illnesses and conditions, below is a BBC web link with posts of bygone memories.
