The Carousel Irish Dance Club,Ardwick (ish)!!!

I remember going to this club many times in the 80's, from memory it was a massive place, where all the girls stood on one side, the lads on the other and the words "wanna dance" we're quoted. Is this place still going and if not has site been redeveloped?

It was  at 210, Plymouth Grove. Became the International Club, before being demolished in the early 1990s.  The owner was Gareth Evans (born Ian Bromley), who also managed the Stone Roses.

I used to DJ here in the 80's, when the band came on at 12 o'clock we'd take the music to the dancefloor downstairs, I have many happy memories of this place
