And now they're on about closing more police stations, and suggesting you report a crime to your local shopkeeper or at the post office!

So lets get this straight, we have a ex mp who rinsed the public purse dry who is now in charge of the police in manchester.

Now we have stations closing and shop keepers are being asked to be in charge of policing.

Only in the uk could this insanity become reality.

So exactly what am I paying for in taxation?

I recently had to use the police to report my car stolen, they wanted £150 if they recovered it.

I recovered the car myself as it was dumped locally , however I had to report it to the police .
They made me make an appointment. I went and could not even get into the station I had to use an outside phone , then it took an hour for the police to come out and take my details.

Yet we all pay for a service that is going to be led by nothing more than a man who needs 200 grand in expenses.

ROY.
