They dont ring any bells with me at all
Just been on Google and it does refer to 'The Long Bar' being on the Great Bridgewater Street side of the Gaumont.(That is the road that further down has the Peverill of the Peak pub).
Pictures were great and ironic,showing the old Tram lines that used to run down Oxford Street-now they are just about everywhere in the City Centre-apart from Oxford Street!!.
I never went to the Long Bar,as best as I recall-The Temple of Covenience is a pup within the scale of things as it has only been open a few years-not sure how many though.But as we know before it became a pup it was a convenience.
