I remember Rotters...it was brill, my sister and I used to go there on a Saturday night, wearing our 'Crazy Face' jeans...lol
I remember dancing to Gloria Gaynor's I will Survive, and Jimmy Mac...lol
They has a beautiful stately staircase inside.

The Long Bar was behind Rotters, it became Yanks Records in the mid '70's.
Angie, The Portland Bar was a basement bar/club on the corner of Portland Street and York Street and was part of the Piccadilly Tower building just around from Piccadilly Gardens on the bus station side.

I remember it.
I never went, I always remember there being fights outside it whenever I went to the Kentucky Fried Chicken place after coming from The Gallery (Reflections was the real name, but nobody called it that) or 42nd Street.

If I remember correctly Rotters changed to Romanoffs only was because the carpets were monogrammed with a capital R
