Medieval swordfighting class in Stretford
« on: 18:45:59, 12/04/13 »
Ever wanted to know how it feels to be in a swordfight? Want to play your own Game of Thrones? We don't muck around with years of kata, you'll be fighting on your 1st lesson with high density polypropylene longswords and all appropriate safety gear. [/font]Though sparring is fundamental to what we do, we teach moves from historical treatises and put them into practice in a fun, safe environment. Though we are doing 15c longsword at the moment, we are open to suggestions, pole weapons, dagger, wrestling or 17c smallsword, if its pointy we'll give it a go. We train on most mondays at 19.30 at St. Matthew's Church, Chester Road, Stretford, Manchester M32 8HF. So drop me a line to make sure its on, or put 'sword fighting in Manchester' into facebook for more info.
