Britain's Best!
« on: 09:26:08, 05/06/07 »
Just wondered if anyone had seen this on UKTV? http://uktv.co.uk/index.cfm/uktv/britainsbest.index

It looks like a great way to vote for Manchester...i think i might vote for Manchester Town hall as the architecture is just so amazing!

.....not sure Stonehenge is comparable to Manchester somehow, infact the whole 'best site' idea is a bit too nebulous in my opinion !! :-\

I see there's a Britain's Worst town too. Manchester was not in the Top Ten on the list in 2004.

I am surprised Bath was voted one of the worst towns, I always wanted to go there because of the Jane Austen connection  :(
