Nellie and her flower cart were fixtures in Manchester in the 1950s and 1960s, does anyone know more about her, where she lived, her family etc.

I passed on the bus last week and notice part of the building had been demolished. Don't know if they are pulling the rest down, there is scaffold up.

It's been like that for a while Jim, I don't think they can knock the rest of it down as it's a listed building, the scaffolding may be there to tidy it up a bit :)

my name is Robert Taylor, and my father chic taylor was the owner of the bossa nova club which was near nellies flower shop she was a lovely old lady, whom use to chat with me every time my dad took me with him in the day when he would do his books and such
