I have a "tipple" every night  ;D

Tomorrow one of my sons who lives next door to me will bring in my "Christmas dinner".
Festivities at Christmas unfortunately have lost most of their meaning but I do think others should have a good time.

Christmas only loses its' meaning if you let it, I know that despite all the commercialism which surrounds it deep down inside I feel the spirit of Christmas

Ray, enjoy tomorrow :)

The Carol Service which is on TV now is coming from Saint Mary's Church, Prestwich, our present Vicar came from there

Lunch with Mum and Dad and far too many roast potatoes.  O0   Then lovely presents, visits and phone calls and now I'm home with my snoozing dogs and some Christmas carols playing, feeling loved and blessed and happy.  And full.  ;)

I hope all my Forum friends had a nice day - however you choose to keep Christmas.   :)

Thank you Celeste!! Beautiful yesterday, took the grandees to our beach for a dip, water pistols, game of cricket. Back to my daughters for a seafood entrée, hot Christmas lunch (thanks to me including sprouts) and a wicked pavlova for dessert. Beautiful day, weather at 32c just perfect. I hope you all had a wonderful time with your family and friends. Warmies to you all from downunder. Mrs Eddie xx

'Warmies'  ;D

I'm liking that Mrs Eddie and lots of 'warmies' to you and yours too O0

Well, I surpassed myself yesterday with my Christmas dinner, I've never seen the sons so enthused, one said could he have the same again today - er I don't think so, everything turned out well and at the same time 8)

Hope your tummies are all satisfied,  according to the news doctors have been told to identify all patients who are overweight - be warned, you may all be forced on to the scales :o

Love your humour Celeste... keep the boys well fed. I've googled recipes for left over turkey and found turkey carbanara...sounds good to me. Keep the ham bone in the freezer for pea and ham soup in Jan (if we get a cool day)
Warmies Mrs Eddie  xox
