PRESTWICH

Hello everyone,

Im new to this forum malarky but have always marvelled at how other people get lots of useful information from them.

I have lived in manchester for about 4 years on and off whilst a student and now a permanent resident. I have always lived in south manchester. At present my boyfriend and i are thinking of buying somewhere. We have been looking towards north manchester, primarily the prestwich area. Can anyone recommend nice areas in prestwich for us to begin our search? we like leafy suburbs but with a bit of youth.

Last time I was in Prestwich there were some apartments being completed on the main road, between Crumpsall and Prestwich, very nice and leafy and  near to a de Vere Hotel and adjoining golf club - go see
