Englands LADIES football team
« on: 11:19:10, 07/07/15 »
YES we have one. Bronze medal in the World Cup.
Beat Germany.
An overhead kick to clear off the goal line, that Rooney would have made headlines with.
Real skill.
Half the team came from MAN.CITY.
Is that why nobody,s bothered?

The team should ignore them, only a minority I'd guess

You will have to give valid reasons why,  ladies football has been played since the 19th century

I don't watch ladies football, in fact I only have time to watch the top mens' teams

If any football should teams should be banned it's the men's teams in the top leagues that should be banned.

My reasoning behind this is because so many of the players, particularly in the top half of the top leagues are just there for the money, they make more money in a week than most of us can hope to see in a lifetime.  They constantly underperform and act like little children arguing with the referee, with opposition players and not playing much football and that's just on the pitch, what they do off the pitch in some cases is just unforgiveable and then they complain that the taxes are too high in this Country, well with the wages they earn they should be paying those much higher taxes, or maybe they should try earning their money first and of course when an offer comes in making them more money, well obviously in most cases they'll jump on it even if it means leaving their team for another one, no loyalty there.

The lower leagues and ladies football included, while yes it's still about the money, everything in life is in reality, but the players in those teams get much more realistic wages not all that different to what most people in other jobs get, sometimes even less than that, but what they have is much more loyalty for their teams and the desire to play and perform for them to the best of their abilities.

I don't watch ladies football either, but I know that some of them can play week in week out on a consistent basis better than some of the top players in the men's teams, simply because they haven't been corrupted by all the things that go on in men's football, at least not yet anyway, lol and I'm a male Manchester United fan (mens team).
