Anybody recall Flats on Woodland Road Crumpsall - my mother may have shared a flat on there in 1957 - no 15?

Kennet House was very near Woodlands road, there was also a block of flats on Woodlands road with another two blocks behind it, I think they were called Maybank, Hazelwood and Daneleigh.

Yes Kennet house was at the Queens rd end of Woodlands rd on the corner of Hazelbottom rd, and yes it looked like a cruise liner.

I think it came under the Hendham vale area. At one point in time Hendham vale was like a small community of it's own. Ran at the side of the river Irk & although i knew a few people in that area, many of they could be a wired lot

Yes, when I was a kid in the 60's not many of us would venture down to Kennet House.
