Can anyone recommend a firm of solicitors. Good but cheap.

You must be a born optimist! There’s no such thing as a cheap solicitor. Good solicitors — yes. Cheap solicitors — No.

A cheap solicitor will provide you with cheap advice, in the long run it is much better to pay for a good quality solicitorwho knows what they are doing.

Q: Why does the Law Society prohibit solicitors and their clients from having sex?

A: To prevent clients from being billed twice for essentially the same service.

Joan Fergusson. At the top of Waterloo road in cheetham hill. I came up against one of her employees who was a real [censored]!! The best ones (If you can say that about a solicitor) are the ones that are recommended by people who have lost against them by whatever means they use.

I take it you were involved in a family dispute if you chose Joan Fergusson. Suffice it to say that all family solicitors — and indeed the Family Courts — are questionable.

I’d prefer to know why a solicitor is needed. Given that information I may be able to offer a name.

Yes it was a family dispute. I came up against her employee.
Yes I agree, the courts and solicitors are questionable!

Questionable family courts are alas nationwide. The sooner they do something about them the better!

Not much use for family courts. More especially if you’re a man. Very biased. In fact extremely biased.

Family solicitors don’t normally try very hard when they are defending a male because the odds are stacked aginst them from the word go, and they know that. The best in Manchester is the already mentioned Joan Fergusson, but for a male the evidence has to be overwhelming.

I’ve studied the family courts for years — and for various people investigated the backgrounds of social services employees. Not in Manchester or Sheffield I hasten to add, but generally female employees tend to be divorcees or single mums with axes to grind.
