stockport nightlife?

my mates and i are from sheffield and have a few mates we'd like to visit in stockport and we were just wondering what the nightlife is like there?

comin from stockport myself id say its an ok night out but if u want a decent night go manc. the 192 bus comes like every2mins all night every night

If your over 25, book your self in to bredbury hall country club and hotel, you have to be fairly smart to get in, no tats or earrings.

I was a gold member there, full of hen nights in the summer months and always pack on Xmas and new year with work do's.

Its a bit dear, but there no [censored] to be seen.

I moved to Stockport a year ago and sadly there seems to be absolutely no night life whatsoever! To be honest, its so bad that in the year I have lived there Iv been out in Stockport only once and we couldn't find a single pub/club. Follow the others advise and brave the 192 into Manchester, it runs literally all night.

There's a free event at the Blue Cat Cafe, Shaw Road, Heaton Moor, Stockport on Thursday 26th March

The Low Risers (a folk / rock group) are playing and the event starts at 9.00pm.
