I suppose I could have a dig at Mr Tenpole Tudor following his latest trying day at the office last evening, but I am a gentleman, and so I won't....... 8)

Yes you are, but these players are getting paid large salaries and are letting him down, perhaps if he told them they had to train for an extra hour a day they
might try harder?

I suspect that many United followers have not realised just how bad it might get for them. I have supported City since my primary school says and so I have gained a lot of experience of watching relegation-bound football teams. Be in no doubt about it, United's current standard is relegation form, and the turmoil behind the scenes only adds to this general picture of a club in crisis. I am not predicting that United will go down this season; however, if they do not turn things around both on the field and off it then the prospect of Championship football is going to become ever more likely. They have got serious problems to resolve, and a scrambled victory at Fulham must not be allowed to disguise this fact.

It is astonishing to reflect that, after one of the worst Champions League performances since the competition began, United are still in with a chance of going through to the knockout stages. How is this possible, except in a very weak group indeed…? 🤔

A spot of equilibrium (not to mention basic realism) has been restored today at Old Trafford. United have been in an absurdly elevated league position despite having the worst collection of players they have fielded in several decades, probably since 1974 if the truth be told. But now Athletics & Football Club Bournemouth have put a stop to the supposed ‘revival’.

Is it just me, or does anybody else get the feeling that Eddie Tenpole would be almost relieved to get the old heave-Ho if it were to happen some time soon? Walking away with the remainder of his contract paid in advance would surely be better than being in the glare of the spotlight as he tries to mould a silk purse out of a sow’s ear.

And it should have been 4-0. Yet another obviously wrong decision from VA bloody R.

It’s still on for the Rags, you know; the other game in the group is still level. If it stays like that, and United can score, they will be through…..

Mr Tenpole is now ten pints (oops, I meant ‘points’) behind the European Champions, and his men have played one game more.

And their league position is still absurdly exaggerated ……..
