What chance of an upset for Eddie and his men down in South Wales today? 🤔

Man City's first goal was disallowed, offside so as I see it,if the 2 players are aligned from head to knee, but the attacker has a longer tibular bone, his toe is offside. Ridiculous rule.
I'd like a season without the rule and many more goals as a result. It was first brought in to make the game more exciting, not more contentious.

Fully agree. It is scandalous  that VAR is ruining football these days. An utterly absurd decision.

In the meantime, Eddie's boys are clinging on...

Spot on. They always are much better without it.

I remember when it was first launched, and I remember a discussion I had with some friends at the time. How many times throughout the years, I asked them, have we seen an incident filmed from three or four different angles and analysed in a studio by three or four former professional players, and STILL there is no consensus. They are implacably split over whether it was handball/offside/a penalty. Why did they imagine VAR would turn out any different?

Well, it hasn’t turned out any different, has it?

In Belgium a-game will have to be replayed because of a mistake by VAR

A Newcastle United supporter has been banned from St. James's Park over 'transphobic' social media messages after being snooped on by a company working for the Premier league who then handed a dossier to the club, which then took the decision to ban her.  ???

My Spurs fan friend said, they have the greatest goalie in the world.
The man can't stand up, a light breeze knocks him down, opponents are on to him.

Best goalie ever - L.  Yashin  Russia

Zenga Italy one of the best  Schmeikel  Denmark

we've had some excellent goalkeepers,  Gordon Banks   Peter Shilton  e.g.

A blue card is set to be introduced in professional football as part of sin-bin trials, marking the first new colour of card widely used in 50 years.
The revolutionary move will be announced by International Football Association Board on Friday as part of new measures that will see players removed from play for 10 minutes if they commit a cynical foul or show dissent towards a match official.

The protocols will add a new wrinkle to dismissals as players would now be sent off if they receive two blue cards in a game or a combination of a blue and a yellow.
