Change a couple of words in Steve's post and you have Man U V Tottenham,dire.
Politicians and nappies must be changed often,and for the same reason

Big Sam would be preferable,  has lots of experience and can motivate players,  understands dressing room atmosphere,
never have been keen on Stuart Pearce, he didn't stay in management long did he?

Condolences to Sheffield United losing by a goal to Sunderland.  It must rankle when they reach 90points and have to take part in a play-off.  (money!)
I think the first three top teams should automatically join the Premiership.

Pearce was an excellent player but a poor manager, which is very often the case. In his time in charge at City he ended up resorting to having a stuffed toy next to him on the bench; his young daughter had given it to him for good luck.


Those were the days, when we were everybody's favourite troup of comedy losers.....
