Or maybe the club president can't afford him, if so, why stop him going to China!

No, it's Zidane who is the main agitator for Bale's exit and he hasn't made any secret of the fact, although naturally the club's hierarchy will be keen to offload an expensive player who will only get near the first team over the manager's dead body. According to what I've been reading the Chinese club were offering Bale so much in wages that they were reluctant to pay a transfer fee on top of it all. In effect, they were asking Real to let them have the player on a free transfer, and so it's hardly surprising that the deal fell through. All in all, it's a quite peculiar little episode, isn't it?

I don't think Zidane is good at 'man management'

LA Galaxy striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic says he would be open to a return to former club Manchester United when his contract ends in November.
Hope so

I just wanted to say well done to those plucky little guys at Old Trafford! Everyone else was predicting an absolute drubbing for the Ole's men and even United's own Board had written the game off, according to the grapevine. "But no", I cried, a single lone voice in the wilderness, "a giant-killing is never impossible! Look at Walsall v Arsenal, Yeovil v Sunderland, Colchester v Leeds, Hereford v Newcastle, and Chelsea v Bradford. I'm convinced The Rags v The Dippers is going to be next!"
And it so nearly was....United came breathtakingly close to winning their very own cup final against one of the important teams. Congratulations to OGS. Let's hope Mr Ed has the sense to reward him with a permanent contract so that he dies while still in office at some point in the dim and distant future. By that time the fans can lick their lips at the prospect of slogging out derby battles with their rivals in the Manchester League, and clashes with the likes of Wilmslow Albion, Styal, Hindley Juniors and Tintwhistle Athletic Reserves are sure to be a sell-out. At least the inimitable Pogba will still be there, earning half a billion a week, or whatever it is.
Hearty congratulations once again to The Rags! Let's hear it now.....Hip, Hip....

As much as I don’t have any time for city I was so glad to take two points off Liverpool to help city in their attempt to overhaul the bin dippers , yes it has come to this
, in better news the mighty fc Utd have clawed their way up the table to occupy a play off place, early days though,

I've been watching some highlights on the net. Looks like a bloody good game!
