Thats the open market for you,if it can be bought or sold,it will be.
But  not our freedom of speech and an Englishman's home is still his castle. As long as he owns it.
Politicians and nappies must be changed often, and for the same reason

An Englishmen home, I was under the impression we were talking britishness.

As long as an Irish builder builds it and a polish plumber maintains it. I am sure it will be a castle fit for a Englishman.

Open market? No it's not an open market it's called selling off your asset's.

Nothing is british it's all foreign owned . Would the Americans sell there  infrastructure off. Not a chance.

It's far more deeper and more serious than selling the family silver off.
The damage we have done to Britain by allowing foreign agency's to buy the company's has resulted in millions of job losses and wage depression.

Cadburys remember them? Prime example.

Not only that they buy up the patents to British invention.

Mini? Remember that?

Now German owned
B.p partly russian owned.
I.c.i the chemical leader of the world Dutch owned.

Worst of all is the asset stripper foreign companies who milk it for all its worth for a big sale.

Only in Britain has this been allowed to occur.

So to be British is to have your soul sold .while the rest of the world looks on  bemused at us.

No other country in the world has allowed this to happen in Japan selling a company to a foreign one asset stripping it is seen as a disgrace.

Its a bit late to want everything made in the UK and how can we take manufacturing back, when the working population is already fully employed? Already women are being forced to work extra years and others may have to work past retirement to pay off mortgages.

My retort to this is zero hour contracts , I rest my case about the economy in a mess.

It is not true that this is only happening in Britain while the rest of the world "looks on bemused". The multinational conglomerates are buying up real estate everywhere, in a process known as Globalisation.

No your mistaken Britain has no
economic patriotism
And we are suffering for it.

Foreign corporations also currently control 39 per cent of UK patents. This is far more than the percentage of foreign-owned patents in the U.S. (11.0, Japan (3.7) or even the European Union as a whole (13.7).
At this rate, it’s been said, it won’t be long before we’re all working for foreign companies.

So as you can see from the figures it's happening here the sell off .

Other countries adopt what’s come to be known as ‘economic patriotism,’ which involves putting tremendous obstacles in the path of foreign bids. Take France, for example, which argues that it’s in the national interest to prevent key technologies falling into foreign hands. Key technologies that extend all the way from nuclear power to yoghurt-making.

the Government is happy to consider letting a Russian firm, the one behind the Chernobyl accident, run some of Britain’s next generation of nuclear power stations. In fact, to date, we’ve sold off more than half our assets to foreign owners.
