ASDA Eastlands, there are a couple of lowlifes posing as council employees, fake body worn cameras,  telling people that they've overstayed in the car park and 'fining them £120, four old dears have been conned I believe, also they have been seen operating around ALDI 'fining' people for littering, cig butt's etc.

It never rains but it pours, I replied to a scammers mail,sure all know of it,Named friend asks have I bought anything from Amzn lately.
Her friend has cancer and she would like to give her a apple gift card ,can I help.

A 67-year-old woman suffered 'life-changing' injuries in a terrifying mugging in east Manchester. The victim was attacked from behind and dragged to the ground before having her handbag snatched on Clayton Hall Road, Clayton yesterday (Friday) afternoon.

It's time for pensioners to go to self-defence centres,  or whatever they call them,  as well as keep-fit classes.  Screech/panic buttons in the future maybe.
Best not to keep anything valuable in your handbag these days - a pepper spray could be useful and a brolly.

I don’t live too far from the incident, it’s not a great area, one day my friends wife was taking her small granddaughter to post a birthday card when she got to the postbox she realised she’d dropped the card , she retraced her steps and to her amazement the card was still there . She carried on back to the postbox her faith in people restored only to find the stamp had been nicked
