Thinking about moving to Manchester
« on: 16:08:27, 14/12/07 »
In the new year I am seriously considering moving to Manchester from London, where I have been for the past three years (originally from North Scotland).

Been to Manchester quite a few times and find it a really nice friendly place.  Any opinions on whether or not this is a good or bad move would be appreciated!

I have had a look at the property in the centre of the city and that appears to be fine for me, but was just wondering if there is that much of a difference in contractor rates for an IT person in the city.

Anyway, thanks in advance for your replies.

I'm a bit out of 'the swim' really, perhaps if you pm Chris/Admin or even Arthur if you don't get any replies on here :)

Sadly my knowledge of IT hire rates is non-existant - good luck though
