Energy Bills

People are being warned about the consequences of not paying their energy bills, as a campaign to refuse payment gathers support.

Gas and electricity bills are set to soar, with a typical household bill rising to £3,549 in October when the new energy price cap takes effect, and there are fears many will struggle to cover the cost.

But charities say not paying energy bills can have very serious consequences.

All that's necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing

It all comes down to the numbers involved. If 50,000 people sign up to the pledge and stop paying their obscene “energy” bills, then the ever-so-obliging stooges at Northampton County Court will happily see them hung, drawn and quartered with their entrails cooked in front of their still conscious eyes. But if it turns out to be 5,000,000 then the sock puppets will dance to a different tune, for fear that they themselves might become acquainted with the quartering block before too much longer has passed by.

It would be quite divine if this reality should ever come to pass.
