That's a bit of a sweeping statement.

I'm sure studently places are fun but I never find sticking to a carpet and 4 people sharing a pint that much fun.

Whatever floats your boat I guess.

I cant say Ive ever been to a hangout that has carpet, (except fridays in didsbury!)
But feet sticking to floor yess!

In my opinion those celeb hangouts attract attention seekers, & people who have not much idea of having a good nite out, They're to worried about there hair getting messy....Or a drip of sweat smudging their make up...

I had my works doo on deansgate locks, we went to a few of the bars....Gee wizz it was miserable... :-\

still? what does 'el gordo' mean?

is it bull or bullish - perhaps we can call Gordon Brown 'el gordo' or is it too complimentary

el gordo is a spanish nickname and it mean "fat"

Fratello, com'č vivere in Inghilterra????

A me alcuni hanno parlato bene delle cittā ( insomma belle cittā ) ma piove sempre e gli inglesi ti trattano come un appestato. ( sono freddi e diffidano tantissimo.... ) confermi?

Sull'esperienza forum inglese posso confermarlo mi risponde solo un utente....

If you want to see celebs, do your food shopping at M&S lower Market St around 5.30 in the afternoon!

does 'Vera Duckworth' still have her pub 'The Grapes' off Deansgate, think it's Quay Street, she may have left as she was ill (Elizabeth Dawn)?
