Certainly not helping the housing crisis.

Insanely high rent charges only form part of the story because, even if you can clearly demonstrate that you have the ability to pay this amount of Mental Money every month, you will STILL not be allowed to rent any property unless you have a credit score that is “Very Good”. Having a “Good” credit score will get you nowhere, and you would be best advised to crawl off and die somewhere pretty darned soon. No, only a “Very Good” score will impress the Einsteins who operate as letting agents.

One of our local rags down here carries the horrible story of a lady who lost her business, her only source of income, and as a consequence lost her home when the bank repossessed it. The cause of her livelihood being removed was the fat count Boris Johnson’s slavish adherence to the Davos billionaires, and their demands for illegal and unnecessary lockdowns. She now exists in an existential hell as she seeks shelter in one of those ‘Living Pods’ we have all heard about, her’s being situated in Newquay. The fact that she is a blameless and hard working individual who has been cast into penury through no fault of her own cuts no ice with the Einsteins, who regard her as something they might scrape off the bottom of their shoes.

I realise, of course, that these people are not scientists, astronauts or surgeons for a very good reason; they are letting agents because they make a smaller amount of mess in the office than the chimps who also applied for their incredibly simple positions. But the fact that these four king morons have the power to make or break entire families, and to consign decent human beings to living on the streets, is utterly depressing. I do not wish to sound uncharitable, of course, but…..well, I’m sure you can all hazard a guess………

Heartbreaking story,  it's stories like hers which should catch the eye of the multi-millionaires,  and they could step in and help when it's an obviously genuine predicament.

Do you know what her business was?

There was a series in the 1990s called 'At home with the Braithwaites' concerning a woman who won £38,000,000 and she helped people like this lady.

She had a business in the town of Helston selling furniture. This was one of the activities deemed “non-essential” by the Globalist fat count and his criminal cohorts, and to Hell with anybody who depended upon it for their sole source of income. These pods are appearing at locations all over Cornwall and appear to be a good initiative on the face of it; they provide shelter from the elements, heating, a bed, a writing desk, a microwave, and a private shower. However, the solution quickly unravels as soon as you start to notice your immediate neighbours. The sad truth is that the vast majority of people living on the streets have addiction issues and a variety of other severe mental health conditions. This lady described how one man was so intoxicated on vodka that he failed to notice he had lost control of his bowels, and he spent four whole days plastered in faecal matter, with other residents unable to go anywhere near his pod because of the stomach-churning stench. The noise is constant, drugs are being traded and used 24/7, and threats of death or serious violence are a permanent feature of life in one of these places.

Due to the publicity surrounding her story following its publication Cornwall Council have now rehoused her. But the fact of the matter is that this lady’s ordeal could happen to pretty much any one of us; her life has unravelled over two horrible years through absolutely no fault of her own.

There but for the Grace of God…….

Glad the lady has been helped,  hope next time people are a bit quicker to help, e.g. the poor man with bowel issues,  I'd have gone into a charity shop,  the Salvation Army,  or similar,  and got them to either help him or phone for help.

That’s a very worthy and well-meaning response, Celeste. But I rather suspect the gentleman in question might not take too kindly to offers of help from…well, absolutely anybody, really. The severely mentally ill are extremely difficult to assist. Violence may well have been the result of any practical solutions that might have been suggested to him. Seriously, this would be the most likely of outcomes.

Developer borrows £12.5m of public funds for flats at former market - but none will be affordable

Again no affordable homes, why is GMCA lending council tax payers money to build homes that ordinary folk can't afford?  ???
