A lost shopping centre just minutes away from Greater Manchester was loved by generations of adults and kids.

Botany Bay was a huge shopping and leisure complex in Chorley, Lancashire, and had everything you could imagine, even a massive play area for children. Based in a former mill alongside the Leeds Liverpool Canal, it was simple to get to from Greater Manchester located just off the M61

Was that the shopping “ centre “ that charged people to go in ?

Dont think so Parky,it's a mill at the side of M61 as you head back to M/c.
Been in a couple of times.
Politicians and nappies must be changed often,and for the same reason

If it’s the old leyland vans building they did charge to go in
