If you treat people like criminals, the hot blooded will react.
There is some footage of the London march, which shows the police picking out solitary men for arrest, all very calm and leisurely the men seem taken by surprise
One comment, did the Met have arrest targets to meet..
Politicians and nappies must be changed often, and for the same reason

Yes they had to make up the quota because they ran away in Leeds and arrested no one

  • Police officers faced "serious and sustained levels of violence" after hundreds of people rioted in Sunderland on Friday night.
Northumbria Police said three of its officers were injured during the unrest and needed hospital treatment.
Eight people have been arrested after a police building was ransacked and a Citizens Advice premises next door to it was set alight.
Beer cans and bricks were thrown at riot police outside a mosque and cars were set on fire during the disorder.
It is the latest episode of unrest to break out in towns and cities across England following the killing of three young girls in Southport on Monday.

Northumbria Police Ch Supt Helena Barron said officers had been met with "serious and sustained" levels of violence, which was "utterly deplorable".
She said a full investigation was under way to identify those responsible for any criminal behaviour.
"I want to make it absolutely clear that the disorder, violence and damage which has occurred will not be tolerated," Ch Supt Barron added.
Of the three injured police officers, one has been discharged and two remain in hospital for further treatment, she said.

They are using the tragedy as an excuse for targeting the mosques,  the police and even vehicles - unbelievable, that much is clear.  Make no mistake,
the police are the 'buffer zone' for the public.

Please don't get me wrong, I'm not condoning this, but I don't think the police have done themselves any favours here with their selective policing methods. We have the Just Stop Oil protests which cause misery for the public, and also the pro-Palestine protests where on both occasions the police just stand around doing nothing. However anybody else who dares to protest against the left will suddenly see very different police tactics. Everybody should be treated equally.

Well of course the policeman who kicked the guy who was face down on the floor, tasered was out of order,  and he has been suspended,  but violence has bred violence now,  the thugs look for any excuse.

It was never like that when I worked at the airport - we did have to wear photo identity.

Fully agree, would also add BLM to the list.

After the trouble in Southport the other night Keir Stalin showed his true colours, he didn't even attempt to take the heat out of this, instead he from what I could see declared war on the British people who are tired of the mass invasion of this small island, he drove a tanker into the flames, he and Cooper are making out that it is solely about those three innocent children butchered by that animal, it isn't, if he and the other swamp dwellers had taken the trouble to venture out amongst the people they'd known, but in actual fact they know, anyone recall Gordon Brown's reaction to that that awful woman in Rochdale when quite reasonably she voiced concern about immigration? Well that sums these commies up, they do not care, added to that his speech has put coppers at risk because they will be seen as tools of oppression by anybody that doesn't follow the script.

Keep up the demos and press the point home.

Smarmer could have saved time because his speech could be boiled down to three words, "Shut up peasants"

He doesn't, like all politicians he's in denial, after all a lot of those people probably voted for him and by laying the blame elsewhere he's protecting potential votes in future, he saw Smarmer give that awful tone deaf speech and realised how bad it was.

He offers no proof, I wonder if there are agent provocoteurs at large.
