Hello there,
My grandparents were living at Irlams o' th' Height when I knew them in the mid 20th century, but also lived at Bradshaw Steet. My grandad had a small hardware shop at the Height (The Beehive): he was Fred Gordon, and my grandma was Martha (nee Haughton). Their two sons were Alf and Kenneth. The Haughtons were a large family living in Salford.
