Immigration Minister Robert Jenrick has drawn up a set of proposals to attempt to cut immigration to the UK.

The ideas, which he has shared with No 10, are not yet government policy, but are being discussed internally.

Among the suggestions are a required minimum annual salary of £35,000 in order to receive a work visa.

It comes after official figures put last year's net migration figure higher than previously thought - at a record 745,000 people.

This has led to calls for more action to bring down migration from Tory MPs.

Cameron warning to Israel over 'too high' casualties.

The UK foreign secretary has called for those responsible for "settler violence" in the West Bank to be arrested, prosecuted and put in prison.
Lord Cameron said Israel had the right to self defence after the "appalling" events on 7 October. He said he'd told the Israeli president that civilian casualties in Gaza were "too high" and that Israel must stick to international humanitarian law.
He spoke to BBC diplomatic correspondent James Landale, in Ramallah, who asked when Britain might call for a ceasefire.
David Cameron warns Israel over Gaza civilian casualties.

The Jewish March in London was 1000.000 strong ,no graffiti no attacks on the cenotaph ,no one arrested who was on the march and Union flags amongst the Israeli flags , compare that to the rabble the week before ,

A "lunar halo" has been spotted in the night skies.[/size]

The ring around the Moon was seen over the skies on Saturday evening in Staffordshire, the West Midlands, Surrey, Berkshire, Dorset, Yorkshire, Cumbria, Derbyshire and the Isle of Wight.

The phenomenon is caused by the refraction of moonlight from ice crystals in the upper atmosphere.

According to the Met Office, the halo can mean rainfall might be approaching.

Cameron is a soulless, empty void, just like the rest of the Davos Brigade and those bought-and-paid-for politicians who are happy to prostitute themselves on its behalf in return for their thirty pieces of silver. A fitting welcome awaits them upon their departure from this world.

I am not claiming to be beyond reproach by any stretch of the imagination but, seriously, if I was one of these people I would be sitting bricks…….
