Manchester Uni
« on: 19:35:45, 01/12/23 »
Yes I know it's the biggest in Europe, students come from every Continent and all around the UK.
But why do local kids prefer to go elsewhere,is it pastures new or an adventure?.
I would like to know, because the young I know are not happy.
Whether its being homesick or they dont like the City they go to or both. Why?
Why not Manchester, why isn't it enticing. Maybe the course is unavailable [like dance] are there others?.
They [students] could and do,save a fortune by traveling from home to Manchester, but some prefer the debt just to get away.
I feel somethings not right.

I worked at the uni for a time loz and mostly it’s adventure to go further afield ,the first step of proper independence.

They’ll blow their grant and then go to the bank of mam and dad, and good luck to them  :)
