A bus carrying freed Palestinian prisoners has arrived in the occupied West Bank, after leaving Israel's Ofer prison
• Large crowds gather in the occupied West Bank to welcome the freed prisoners, which a Hamas-affiliated news agency says is  carrying the 183 prisoners due to be released today
• Meanwhile, the Rafah crossing -which is the sole crossing between Egypt and the Gaza strip - ]has reopened after eight months, as the first group of wounded Palestinians have been evacuated to Egypt
• This comes after the earlier release of[] three Israeli hostages - Yarden Bibas, Ofer Kalderon and Keith Siegel - as part of the ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas that began on 19 January
• In Tel Aviv, BBC's Alice Cuddy says the orderly scenes at the releases this morning are a "stark contrast" to the chaotic handover on Thursday

Hasn't it been mentioned that there are several terror groups holding hostages.
Scenes are of jubilation,I fear a tragedy without an ending.

Canada, Mexico and China have vowed to respond to sweeping new tariffs to their exports to the US announced by President Donald Trump.
Trump said a levy of 25% on Canadian and Mexican imports as well as an additional 10% tax on Chinese goods would come into force on Tuesday. Canadian energy faces a lower 10% tariff.
The US president said the move was in response to his concerns about illegal immigration and drug trafficking - two of the main promises on which he was elected.
In response, both Canada and Mexico said they were preparing similar tariffs on US goods, while China added it would take "necessary countermeasures to defend its legitimate rights and interests".

The implementation of tariffs and the subsequent retaliation could mark the start of a new era of global trade wars.
Economists have warned the introduction of the import taxes by the US, and the responses from other countries could lead to prices rising on a wide range of products, from cars, lumber, and steel to food and alcohol.
But Trump has indicated he is ready to escalate the duties further if the countries retaliate.

Does anyone imagine that The Don was taken hostage by fortune with this announcement from the CCP?

Let's be honest, he's hardly likely to be staggering backwards, arms flailing wildly, trying to take it n the immensity of the shock, is he?

The regime in Kiev owes the US a favour or two, alongside the other countries who have propped them up throughout this pointless and entirely avoidable conflict. Let them step up to the plate!

Don't know,  but he's taking on a formidable task rebuilding Gaza,  moving the Gazans to other countries whilst this goes on (they don't wantto leave) and who knows if it will be awar zone again.

MEN reports the cost for Gtr. Manchester's Clean Air Zone was £100million.
The cost to take signs and cameras down,?
If your business lost £100 million, who would be the first to go?.
Would you ask tax payers to cover it?.

This just in.....

Canada and Mexico have both committed to sending 10,000 of their own soldiers to their borders with the US to assist in preventing the further inflow of illegal aliens and deadly narcotic drugs such as (but not limited to) Fentanyl. Both countries have had their tariffs revoked in return for their co-operation.

There. It wasn't that difficult after all, was it? Winning certainly feels good!

And as for Gaza, I reckon The Don is gaslighting the Left. He wants other countries in the region to find a sustainable solution to the festering problem of the so-called "Palestinians", in view of the fact that no other country around those parts wants a continued American presence. The reaction of the Establishment's media is quite revealing, though. They seem to believe very firmly that the people they profess to love so dearly should remain as an endless supply of cannon fodder in a continuous Forever War. That's a very strange kind of love, no doubt about it.

A government decision to dismantle Grenfell Tower has been met with anger by some bereaved relatives and survivors.
Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner told a meeting on Wednesday that the west London tower block, where a fire killed 72 people in 2017, would be dismantled to ground level.
But a spokesperson for Grenfell United, which represents some of the bereaved families and survivors, said no-one at the meeting supported it and people "had been ignored".
There has been several years of debate over the future of the 24-storey tower, with some hoping it would remain in place as a lasting reminder of the tragedy and others wanting it replaced with a new memorial.

A formal announcement by the government is expected to be made on Friday.
The spokesperson for Grenfell United said Rayner had refused to confirm
