Anybody that uses coercion to extract sexual favours should be prosecuted to the full extent.

As for banter in the workplace, it's always gone on, some funny, some not so much, suck it up and crack on.
Can't help but feel this is the BBC’s attempt to deflect from the subject everyone is talking about though.

  Sticks and stones.

Ooh, Smarmer didn’t like the Al Fayed question at the end, I suspect his response was another lie.  ???

At least two people have been killed, and dozens more injured, as firefighters in Los Angeles battle wildfires around the city
• LA Fire Chief Kristin Crowley says the four ongoing fires - Palisades, Eaton, Hurst and Woodley - are "stretching the capacity of emergency services to their maximum limits"
• The Palisades fire, which broke out yesterday, has so far burnt more than 1,000 structures with 37,000 residents under an evacuation order, officials say
• A further 32,500 people have been told to flee their homes as a result of the Eaton Fire - earn more about each of the blazes here.
• You can watch the update being given by officials of the LA fire department at the top of this page.

At least five wildfires are now raging in Los Angeles and parts of its neighbouring counties - three of the blazes are completely uncontained It's utter chaos in Hollywood - streets are gridlocked and people carry whatever belongings they can under a blanket of thick snow.our reporter Christal Hayes writes
• A fire chief tells the BBC the Hollywood Hills blaze is rapidly expanding with "zero" chance of containing it. Paris Hilton is among the A-list stars describing the heartbreak of losing their homes
• Five people are confirmed dead and more than 137,000 people have been evacuated in what has become the most destructive wildfire in LA's history
• Firefighters are short on water and are resorting to taking water from swimming pools and ponds
• LA Mayor Karen Bass defends her absence when the wildfires broke out - she is also facing criticism amid reports she cut $17m from the fire department's budget last summer.

If they (firemen) demolished houses in front of the fire wouldn't it stop the fire spreading?

• Evidence is mounting to confirm what many of us already suspected, that the cause of these fires is arson. There are simply far too many of them breaking out in the worst possible locations for any of this to be natural.

One wonders if they (the arsonists) are working at the behest of the Democrat politicians who have wilfully and deliberately stripped the State of California of almost all of its fire defences, in a part of the world where spontaneous fires have been an ever-present threat ever since time began. First, they send millions of dollars worth of equipment to Ukraine, whilst simultaneously mothballing dozens of other perfectly good appliances on the grounds of their exhaust emissions and their (entirely imaginary) "carbon footprint". Next, they divert precious water supplies away from the places it is needed using bogus environmental concerns as the pretext; this resulted in hundreds (maybe thousands?) of empty fire hydrants THE POLITICIANS KNEW ABOUT perfectly well.

Indeed, if one was a cynic one might be inclined to wonder whether all of this is too much of a coincidence to be true, and one might start to entertain the notion that all of this horror is being inflicted upon the population by design.

Thank Goodness that one is not a cynic.....😵‍💫

Wildfires in Los Angeles have killed at least 10 people, as officials warn more high winds could further fan the flames
• Five fives are still burning and a man has been detained on suspicion of starting the latest
• But the local fire chief tells the BBC there is currently no "conclusive evidence" that the wildfires were started deliberately
• Los Angeles County Sheriff Robert Luna says it has not been safe to reach many of the hardest-hit areas, with some expecting the death toll to rise
• An alert was mistakenly sent to every cell phone in Los Angeles, warning that a blaze was about to sweep through

A night-time curfew has been imposed in areas impacted by the devastating wildfires blazing across Los Angeles
• The rule will be in effect in the Pacific Palisades and Eaton Fire areas as police warn that anyone involved in "despicable" looting will be arrested
• At least 10 people have been killed in the fires so far and it's estimated 10,000 homes and other structures have been destroyed
• President Joe Biden has described Los Angeles as a "war scene" while warning the death toll is "likely" to increase.
• A forecast for more strong winds is raising fears that the blazes could spread further and a red flag warning - indicating critical fire conditions - is in place.
