Inflation falls again.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news

UK inflation has fallen to 2.3% - just above the target of 2% - the lowest level in almost three years
  • It means prices are still rising, just at a slower rate.
  • "Today marks a major moment for the economy, with inflation back to normal," says Rishi Sunak.
  • Inflation was running at 3.2% in the year to March 2024 - that was the lowest rate since September 2021
  • Falling inflation is expected to lead to a cut in interest rates later this year.
  • Inflation peaked at 11.1% in October 2022, its highest for 40 years - the government pledged to halve the rate in 2023.
  • All that's necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing

Yeah, sure, Mr Sunak and the billionaires controlled media.

Oddly enough, I am earning far more now than I have ever earned in my life. In the past I could only have dreamt about the payslips I receive very month these days. And yet…..well, it never seems to go terribly far for some reason or other……🤔

God help anybody who is scrimping by in a sh/t job on minimal rates of pay. There is a reason why the nation is not rejoicing at the media’s glad tidings.

I wonder what it could possibly be……..

Politicians and nappies must be changed often, and for the same reason

A decrease in inflation may indicate economic stabilization and an improvement in the financial well-being of citizens.
